The cannabis industry is not for the timid or risk averse. It requires patience, flexibility, and access to the capital needed to get your dispensary doors open. Our model is not for those looking for a job or a passive investment, but brilliant executors who are driven to succeed against all odds.
Far & Dotter’s primary franchise candidates are entrepreneurs who are interested in owning and operating their own dispensary. Entrepreneurs that meet certain eligibility criteria, especially those who have successfully operated multiple dispensaries or franchised locations, and have access to the requisite capital for investment, may be considered for a modified ownership model.
Although the ideal type of Far & Dotter franchise candidate may vary, our most successful franchisees are aligned with our culture and values, understand and uphold our brand to the highest standards, and are effective implementers of our blueprint for success.
The evolution of cannabis legalization continues to unfold as states adopt and expand new or existing medical and adult use programs. Presently, 38 states and Washington, DC have legalized medical cannabis and 23 also allow adult use or recreational cannabis. Current expansion efforts are centered on the states highlighted on the map below but we are always open to discussing opportunities in other states.
Curio Wellness and Far & Dotter are leading the effort to expand diversity while advancing economic empowerment in the cannabis industry with a proven business model and inclusive franchising program.
The minimum cash requirement for Fund-sponsored franchise candidates is $150,000, which you will use to secure your cannabis retail business license.
